A decade of Node deserved celebrating in style – albeit a year late due to Covid! Belin was chosen for its exceptional quality and variety of urban environments from the perspective of all our three disciplines of urban design, landscape and heritage. During our stay we managed to learn so much about historic and modern Berlin via an architectural guided tour, food tasting, the city exploration by foot and cycling, and meeting up and engaging with Mila’s former workplace – landscape architecture practice ST raum a. Landschaftsarkitektur. Upon returning from the trip, another ‘present’ was waiting for us – we were pleased to join Cordia UK at the launch of the Node-designed pop-up King Kong Park centred around the new 8m tall version of the iconic 1970’s King Kong statue to celebrate Commonwealth Games!
