Node director, Katie Kershaw, has today been announced as a finalist in the ‘Rising Star’ category of the British Property Federation’s Tomorrow’s Leaders Awards.

The British Property Federation is the membership organisation for, and the voice of, the UK real estate industry. The Tomorrow’s Leaders awards, which are run in partnership with Estates Gazette, aim to find and celebrate the UK real estate industry’s rising stars, across the following categories:

  • BPF Collaboration Award
  • BPF Community Engagement Award
  • BPF Inclusivity Award
  • BPF Innovation Award
  • BPF Rising Star Award.

The awards will take place as part of the BPF President’s Lunch 2017 at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on 23 May 2017.

This year’s judging panel comprises:

  • Charlie Vaughan Lee, CEO, Student Cribs
  • Louisa Clarence-Smith, Reporter, Estates Gazette
  • Alison Nimmo, Chief Executive, The Crown Estate
  • Ian Marcus, Senior Advisor, Eastdil Secured and BPF Honorary Life Member

Nigel Wakefield, Node’s managing director said: “I am delighted that Katie has been recognised as a rising star as part of the national BPF awards. Katie’s enthusiasm and energy for creating great places and making a real difference for people is clear within her work.”

This shortlisting follows Katie winning Birmingham Young Professional of the Year in 2015 and Node’s success in becoming ‘Practice of the Year’ at the National Urban Design Awards earlier this year.
