I consider myself very much the traveller. To date I have lived in three different countries. With my Dad always living in Dublin, and me traveling to and from Ireland since I was young, I had always wanted to see what it would be like to live there. When I turned 12 my mum’s job meant she was working away a lot, so I took the opportunity to move – best two years of my life. Shortly after that, I moved with my mum to Spain – who doesn’t love the beach on your door step and sun all summer long?! Now I am a mum myself, I live a very structured life, so I like to make the most of family holidays and try not to go anywhere more than once… with the exception of Disneyland, this should be on everyone’s annual to do list!
In the UK my favourite city has to be Liverpool. I lived in Liverpool shortly after I was born until I was about 8. I have a lot of family there, which is the biggest draw for me as we are all very close as a family. I think from moving a lot, this is where I feel most at home. The atmosphere across the city and warmth I feel from people who are from there is unlike anywhere else I have been. Outside of the UK my favourite city to visit is New York – I love to travel the city at night seeing everything lit up. If I could start my life over, I would move to New York to live the American dream!

My favourite quote is “To travel is to live” – Hans Christian Andersen I feel this sums up my life so far and my outlook on my future.
